Serverless WordPress & the Future of Hosting

In WP Legends Episode 109, we’re joined by Carl Alexander, founder of Ymir, for a conversation on how serverless infrastructure is reshaping the future of WordPress hosting.

Carl shares why traditional hosting struggles to keep up with modern scaling demands, how serverless architecture simplifies infrastructure for developers and agencies, and what it takes to build deeply technical products as a solo bootstrapper.

The episode also explores building in public, navigating long product cycles, and why timing and persistence matter when introducing new ideas into established ecosystems.
